Saltcoats Cats Protection want rural homes for feral kittens
Know of any farmers having trouble with pesky rodents? These feral felines are looking for a rural home where they can work as mousers.
The local Cats Protection branch in Saltcoats would like to hear from anyone that can offer two or three of these kitties a stables or smallholding as their new dwelling.
Nina Chisholm, secretary at North Ayrshire Cats Protection, said: “Cats Protection have ten young mousers looking for rural homes where they can earn their keep.
"They are all between three and six months old and in return for a warm shelter and regular meals, they will hunt to keep the local rodent population under control.”
The kittens have all been neutered and vet-checked and are now waiting to be adopted.
