It's time for the Saltcoats Sea Queen Festival again

Are you ready for this year's Saltcoats Sea Queen Festival? Events start on Monday in the week of family fun, with the parade and crowning on Saturday 17.

This year's Sea Queen is Jillian Cameron with Captain Calum Fitzpatrick, Ladies in Waiting Dana Phillips, Chloe McMahon and Aley Bradley, and Buccanceers Corey Cummings, Leon Allen and Lauchlan Stringer.

The festival parade leaves the Argyle Centre at 10.30am on Saturday.

Among the fun planned is Saltcoats Rock on the promenade from noon on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday, which features live music for every generation including excellent live tribute acts. There will also be side stalls, fairground rides, face painting and sporting activities.
