In the absence of a speaker the meeting of Ardrossan and Saltcoats Rotary Club on Thursday 25th February was again devoted to business matters with past-president Ian Blair in the chair.
A group of of 36 pupils from St Anthony's Primary School in Saltcoats are to take starring roles in a three-minute film being produced to show the work being carried out to revitalise the five towns.
This years fireworks display has been penciled in for Sunday 7th November again at Saltcoats Harbour.The main stumbling block is a lack of committee members, if you can help at all please contact Dona

Are potholes caused by the big freeze causing problems in Saltcoats?
The snow and ice may have disappeared for now, but the potholes and damaged roads they left behind are proving a big problem in Saltcoats.
Despite the efforts of gritting and maintenance teams during the recent bad weather, a report in the Herald reveals that councils across Scotland are facing an overspend of nearly double on winter maintenance budgets for gritting and snow clearance, with a national bill over nearly £100 million.
