Building on Beach?

There is a photo of a beach that I have from 1958. There are beachchairs and people dressed in sweaters enjoying the day on the beach but behind them on the beach is a building with a Dome but it is only two stories, not like the People's Palace in Glasgow that is three stories.The bottom floor is darker than the top floor.(Black and white photo) There is sand all around the building. 

Can anyone guide me to it's where abouts?

Glasgow area? Ardrossan? Any idea's
